Xela House

Mission Statement

 

Xela House is to provide an environment of academia and personal excellence for the students that want to seek a higher education from University, trade school or other specialized advanced training. At the same time we want those students to learn and establish life skills for a successful future in this world. Becoming independent adults with the needed tools to succeed in their communities is our main focus.

Xela House strives to provide opportunities in education to young adults from the Canica orphanage of San Marcos, as well as students in Quetzaltenango (Xela), that would not otherwise have the resources to obtain an advanced education.

 

Of course none of this would be possible without a foundation built on a relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  Students are asked to maintain their Christian values and continue to seek the path that our Lord has put before them. At Xela House, following, believing and setting the example of Jesus is primary in the expected behavior of our students.
